Welcome to Colorado Obgyns
To become an obstetrician-gynecologist (OB-GYN) in Colorado, you must meet the following requirements:

Earn a medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.

Complete a four-year residency program in obstetrics and gynecology, which is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

Pass the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) or the Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination (COMLEX-USA)

Obtain a license to practice medicine in the state of Colorado.

Pass the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) certification examination.

Maintain continuing education requirements to renew the license and certification.

It is also important to note that OB-GYN specialists are required to have a certain level of malpractice insurance which varies from state to state.
